Kota Bharu is situated on the east coast of Malayasia. A small Christian community lived there from the early 1900s mainly British traders.
The Christian cemetery formerly know as Connolly Road has been renamed Jalan Tun Perak Cemetery. It contains two World War II graves.
From the Portuguese time in 1511 through the Dutch occupation 1641-1795 and from 1819-25 to the British period. Includes a short history with lists of churches and memorials.
